I think both MOH (truly a classical approach) and Truth Quest (not necessarily classical, but still very usable that way) are excellent options, and you can find reviews for both of them on my blog as well. oneblessedmammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168661646220055908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344790022398880455.post-82295558715839128092014-05-10T16:33:51.357-04:002014-05-10T16:33:51.357-04:00Hi Kristy, and welcome to my blog. There are two ...Hi Kristy, and welcome to my blog. There are two reasons I might not have responded to "Copycatmom" 's request, and a caveat that I might have, just not publically. First, this review was done for The Old Schoolhouse as part of their Crew, and we are asked not to mention competitors on our review. We can be totally open an honest about our like or dislike of the product, but most vendors would prefer we don't run around saying, "this one is WAY better/worse than XYZ" since that is very subjective depending on your homeschool approach and how well any product fits for your family. That being said, I might have PRIVATELY emailed "copycatmom" a response, if I was able to glean her contact info from her comment to me. If I didn't contact her, even if I could have found her information, it is likely because I am human, and from time to time I miss comments that come in months or years after a review posts. That happens MUCH less often now that I moderate my comments, but I'm not perfect :-). oneblessedmammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168661646220055908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344790022398880455.post-7074129480890017462014-05-10T13:31:55.440-04:002014-05-10T13:31:55.440-04:00I wonder why oneblessedmamma didn't respond to...I wonder why oneblessedmamma didn't respond to the earlier poster's request for a suggestion of a great history curriculum.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16960764298328681101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344790022398880455.post-76790661126608734722014-05-10T13:30:43.566-04:002014-05-10T13:30:43.566-04:00"I would love to hear what you would recommen..."I would love to hear what you would recommend as a great history curriculum."<br /><br />I, too, would like to hear oneblessedmamma's recommendations for what she feels is the best history curriculum out there, based on the classical education model with a Chrisian slant. My youngest, who is 2nd grade now, listens to Mystery of History with her siblings and to our read alouds, but I also do Five in a Row with her. In traditional school settings, most elementary level history is really Social Studies and not true history anyway.oneblessedmammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168661646220055908noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2344790022398880455.post-19453977085775093702013-04-29T16:39:35.885-04:002013-04-29T16:39:35.885-04:00Just read your review on the REAL History Odyssey....Just read your review on the REAL History Odyssey.
