So much work to do
I have all this stuff I need to do...and it seems like I take one step forward and two or three steps back. Erma Bombeck once said something like, "Cleaning up after children while they are still growing is like shoveling the sidewalk while it's still snowing" and it's TRUE. I spent 3-4 days cleaning the girls' room, and now, 4 days later, you can't even walk across the floor.
How does that happen? It happens when the parents are busy ripping out the carpet of the room whose clutter they finally (almost) had tamed.
ARGH
Now I can't find anything. But I have beautiful wood floors instead of yucky carpet, so that makes it all worthwhile.
I really want to get more organized...I just don't know HOW. It doesn't come easy to me. In fact, it doesn't seem to come at all to me, LOL. I need to file a mountain of paperwork. I need to purge a ton of stuff from downstairs. I need to go though the boxes of clothes downstairs to find some things for Mimi to wear (she insists she that all her current clothes are too small-given that she is 9 1/2 and the clothes are a size SIX, she may be right, LOL). I need to...well the list goes on and on.
Anyway, all that to say if it seems that I've dropped off the planet, it's because I am actually trying to get some of my to do list DONE. Pray for me!

I like the snow analogy, and I think it's right on... only that's all of life: Entropy is the rule [smile]. Hang in there!

I'm the world's worst at their school papers too.
I've always loved the way they take everything out and sort through it and have a garage sale and then make over your house. You can't lose!!! You just would have to let us in to take pictures : )
I'll pray for you Amy. I know once you get started it is probably overwhelming and you just need someone to get in there and motivate you.
