AWANA

TJ was Clubber of the month this month. YEA! Also, they had "store". In December, store is focused on Christmas gifts that they buy with their AWANA bucks, and faithful volunteers even wrap everything for the kids so they can bring them home and keep the gifts a surprise until Christmas. In addition to buying Christmas gifts for each other and for us, TJ bought himself a little something (NOT a Christmas gift he said), and Sari (who gets to shop for one thing for free since Cubbies don't get AWANA bucks) got a gift for me. Sari couldn't wait for me to open the gift. She was like the cat that swallowed the canary. I was on the phone with her daddy and she was so excited she loudly whispered to Mimi, "It's a DOLL". She then turned to Tyler and said the same thing (totally oblivious to the fact that I had heard her). So I opened her gift, and she was pleased as punch. We progressed over the course of the evening from "It's yours Momma" to "Okay you share her with me?" to "It's for you and me" to "I'll share my doll with you Momma". Too funny :-).
