Sanibel Day 3

TJ enjoyed running in the surf like he was Dash from The Incredibles.

Sari shows off a Sea Cucumber.

Sari-all legs, and really growing up fast

An Olive shell with its living occupant.

Two more live critters-a conch and a moon eye/nautalus/whatever-I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

Sharing a discovery.

The live sand dollar Scott found. He cut his foot right after he found this (and before I made it to the beach) or I would have his picture with his "find". Mom was afraid for a little while that he might have stepped on a sting ray, but he seems fine although he did cut his foot pretty good. Oh, and we let the sand dollar go of course. We have really seen a TON of live things so far- so many that the shelling hasn't been very good as all the good, whole shells have had inhabitants. Tonight though we found some nice little shells and live things too, so that was fun.

First, I loved hearing about your vacation!!! Your pictures are incredible!! I want to go back and tell you which ones are my favorites. There are so many.
Sanibel is one of my favorite places in the whole wide world. Terry and I honeymooned there. I just love the west coast. Thanks for sharing your pictures, it looks like you had a fabulous time.
