Parting is NOT sweet sorrow
Permit me to wax poetic for a moment...I LOVE my blog background and...sniff sniff...it's going away. It's been "retired" which wasn't such a big deal until the wonderful people at Shabby Blogs changed their host server requiring new code for my background which, did I mention, does not exist anymore. So now I must find a new background...and subsequently a new header since they match. I'm a bit sad ;-(.
On a more serious note, a good friend of ours just passed away Tuesday morning. My husband worked with him when he and his wife were youth pastors at our old church and they (he and his wife) sponsored us when we made our Cursillo. He was not that much older than the Hubs or I, and while this has been a long time coming, the final decline was very quick. He leaves behind a wife and 4 children in their teens and early 20s. Please pray for their family (the Newtons) as you feel led.
