Tagged round 2
Yep, now I've been tagged again. This time it's slightly different, but similar to the "6 things" tag. This is 7 random things about myself.
1) I watch the Superbowl for the commercials. Until yesterday afternoon I did not even know who was playing. And, if you read the previous blog, you know I missed some of the game, but I am bummed for NE that they did not win. It seems wrong that you can play a perfect season and lose the final game so you are not the champions.
2) I ALWAYS channel surf when commercials come on...usually to HSN or QVC. I have probably ordered things twice ever, and I had coupons both times, but even during child friendly shows, the commercials these days can be awful (Halloween Horror Nights, Saw 4-the Director's Cut, Viagra, etc.), so I switch to the 2 channels I know will NOT be selling violence or sex-they just sell everything else.
3) Caramel DeLights/Samoas are my favorite Girl Scout cookie.
4) My house is a total wreck, but I always make my bed every morning.
5) I keep an index card with Ephesians 4:29 tacked above my computer...although I need to tattoo it to the head of every person I encounter so I can read it before I open my mouth. This is definitely a verse that I need to be reminded of daily. What is it?
Let no unkind word come from your mouth, but only such a word that is good for edification according to the need at the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
Even if I get the first part, I still have miles to go with the edification/grace part.
6) I am horrible at keeping in touch with people who live out of town . REALLY.
7) Half our Christmas cards never got mailed out this year. We ran out of postage and I ran out of our christmas letter, and I'm still waiting on my husband to print more. I don't know if, at this point, we should just give up or if we should mail them as Valentine greetings.
