Guess What's (mostly) working again???

TJ and Mimi in downtown Blowing Rock

Scott in Blowing Rock

See that happy child? She's happy because the expensive thing in the background is coming home with us for her to learn how to play. We might not be able to afford our mortgage, but my daughter now has a hammered dulcimer...Hey, it's September-the 31 days of nothing are over.

Seriously, she's never taken an instrument, so this is hers. She has a book and DVD to learn from, and since I want to learn too, there's a reasonable chance she'll actually do it.

Oh, and the camera? It needed a new battery ($30) and a new button battery ($5) and now it's mostly working...(Insert mental image of me doing the happy dance).

Don't tell Wyatt about the hammered dulcimer! He is DYING to learn how to play one. We've told him two full years of piano first. But YEAH for Mimi! Let me know how the lessons go. We'll be doing it soon.

I knew it was the battery! Praise the Lord for cheap fixes- cause they aren't always cheap fixes!
