Roma Downey's Little Angels Prayers for Every Day Review and Giveaway

Over the past few weeks, my daughter and I have had the chance to take a look at a new book.  It's
part of Roma Downey's Little Angels collection and it's called Prayers for Every Day.  Here's what the back of the book has to say:

This new book of prayers features twins Alex and Zoe as they go about their day, along with the Little Angels, their guardians, teachers, and companions.  More than fifty rhyming prayers cover a typical day and the typical worries of a young child--they are written for bedtime, mealtimes, or anytime at all.  This book is the perfect way to teach children about prayer and the ways God cares for us each day.

The book has prayers for morning, praise, thanks, mealtimes, others, help, guidance, forgiveness, comfort, and bedtime.  They are about 4 lines long each, and are written in rhyme.  Here's an example of one of our favorites:

Dear God,
I want to ask you for your help
 with everything I do.
I'll look to you for answers, Lord,
to know what's right and true.
While the Little Angels line is designed for pre-schoolers, my 7 year old loved this board book because the prayers are simple enough for her to read and remember.  This book was just released on March 1st, and has a suggested retail price of $9.99, although you can buy Prayers for Every Day on Amazon for $8.99.   And one lucky One Blessed Mamma reader can win a FREE copy by entering the giveaway below!
