Okay, I'm stupid

So I've totally resisted this "Simple Woman's Daybook" thing because, well, I'm not simple, or a conformist, and I guess I just want to NOT participate in something everyone else is doing. It's the rebel in me. So then I decided that I do appreciate the glimpse it gives into daily life, and if I am writing this largely so that my kids will get an idea of who I am as a person and what their lives were like growing up, the Daybook might be nice to help with that. So today I caved and decided to do it.

Except I'm clearly not mentally savvy enough to figure it out.

And knowing that my friends have all figured it out and I am just pathetic somehow doesn't help.

I followed the link to the site.

I found the link to the page where she gives instruction.

I copied the text questions and pasted to my blog.

I can't get the picture to copy to save my life.

I've tried cutting and pasting.

I've tried uploading it as an image for the url (and I don't even know what a url is, but I think I did it right nonetheless).

No image.

I give up.

I knew I wasn't simple.

And I'm perplexed. Even if I got it all to you mean to tell me I'd have to do that every week? That doesn't sound simple. I KNEW it.

Maybe I'll just mock the daybook instead...

I just left clicked on the picture and saved it to the computer. That's how I get pictures from other people's blogs too.

Okay, I feel better :) I have tried to do it but could not figure it out either. I followed directions, asked for didn't work for me. I decided I was just not meant to do it :)

I just clicked the pic and saved to my computer too. Maybe it's some weird computer glitch. Ask the Knight.

Funny you mention the Simple Daybook here and now. I have not brought my non-conformist self to even try it. Now you've got me curious, but I don't know if I'm curious enough to try it. I'm sorry it didn't work for you, though. I detest computer trouble/aggrevation.

Hey, I just L-O-V-E love your new blog makeover! (Read the Clementine books to your kids. She spells stuff.) I'm drooling.

You crack me up! I must be a nonconformist also! I like pictures and very little text so much that I often don't read the daybooks- honestly- I just go down to the picture- sometimes I will read, but usually not.

Glad you tried it for me and saved me the trouble! : )
